CONFERENCE HISTORY

In 1994, Pastor Larry Enterline began coordinating Children’s Ministry Conferences at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa to help equip and encourage teachers, leaders, and pastors who minister to children. Since that time, these annual conferences have been held at several different churches. Again this year, Calvary Curriculum’s 30th annual Children’s Ministry Conference will be held at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills (see map below).

CONFERENCE PURPOSE

This conference has been set aside for you! Our heart’s desire is that you will be blessed and have a relaxing, yet profitable time, filled with ideas you can use with “your” children as you minister the love of Jesus to them. We pray you will be renewed and encouraged and have the opportunity to fellowship with others who are also called to minister to the children. May your time at the conference be blessed.

CONFERENCE ORGANIZER

This Children’s Ministry Conference is a ministry of Calvary Curriculum which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Calvary Curriculum equips those who minister to children throughout the world by providing Bible curriculum for Preschool through Middle School aged children and trainings for anyone involved with ministering to them. WELCOME to Calvary Curriculum’s 2027 Children’s Ministry Conference “GROWING UP IN CHRIST”.

We are so happy that you have joined us this weekend and we look forward to what God will do in each of our lives. We know how very important it is for children to come to know the Lord, to be saved, to be “born again.” In 2 Tim. 3:15 we read that from childhood Timothy had known the holy Scriptures making him wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. There is no greater joy than to be able to witness the salvation of children under our care. Additionally, it is vital that children are shown how to read their Bibles on their own every day and then to talk to God about what they read. As we are ministering to these children under out care, we don’t just teach and train them in head knowledge, but in heart knowledge also. We want to truly disciple these precious children in how to have true fellowship, a personal relationship, with their Lord and Savior, helping them to grow in Christ. In Luke 10:38-42 we read the account of Martha and Mary. Martha was distracted with much serving while Mary sat at Jesus’ feet and listened to His words. Mary chose the good part and may we also be encouraged to do the same; to choose the good part. We, as children’s ministers, have the wonderful privilege of encouraging and showing these dear children how to fellowship with God on a daily basis. May the Lord enable and equip us to help these dear ones grow up in Christ.

Join us for this 2-day conference on February 19-20, 2027 where we will gather together as the Body of Christ to be encouraged, challenged, and equipped for the ministry of declaring the truth of the Word of God to our children and youth. Over the course of the conference you will have the opportunity to attend 9 hour-long workshops (3 on Friday and 6 on Saturday) from a choice of 100+ workshops that will strengthen you in evangelizing and discipling children and youth in settings such as within the church, through outreach, in your own home, and wherever else you might minister to them. You will also be able to attend 4 General sessions with worship. When you arrive you will receive your conference booklet and name tag. Coffee, water, and snacks will be available for attendees, and a box lunch from Jersey Mikes will be served on Saturday. The box *lunch includes: a sandwich, cookie, potato chips, apple slices, pickle spear, and a drink. *There will be options for Veggie & Veggie+Gluten-Free (See FAQ section for lunch selections).

The registration fee for SATURDAY covers your attendance to the conference on Saturday which offers the 3 general sessions, 2 times of worship, 6 workshop sessions, conference booklet, name tag, coffee, snacks, and lunch from Jersey Mikes . The box lunch includes: a sandwich, cookie, potato chips, pickle spear, and a drink. *There will be options for Gluten-Free & Veggie.
